Stefan Grüll will give us an introduction to his company S1Seven which assigns metals with a tamper-proof digital identity, helping manufacturers to decommoditize products on their road to Industry 4.0. This is how the metal industry can replace mandatory quality certificates with batch-specific machine-readable records to use for smart manufacturing and to assess CO2 emissions – all while being more competitive.

The presentation will be held in English as a live online webinar. The participation is free of charge.

Speaker

Stefan Grüll has been leading König Stahl Holding, a group of steel distribution companies with over 150 years of corporate history and locations in Austria and seven other European markets before starting his venture which was recently awarded as one of the 5 Top Emerging Steel Technology Startups.

Sebastian Becker is Chief Commercial Officer at Riddle & Code and lives in Munich. He has a background as an innovation consultant and has been working for the Austrian company since the beginning of 2017. He studied political science, communication and sinology and is accordingly a generalist and not a technical mastermind, but hopefully this will not prevent this session from being a source of lively discussion.

About the Blockchain Monday

Blockchain technology will change our economy and society in the coming years. You want to know how? You want to know what this has to do with your industry and how you should deal with it?

In our „Blockchain Monday“ series of events, together with experts and speakers from their respective specialist areas, we examine the opportunities and risks that technology brings with regard to a specific industry or a specific area of our society.

The events are aimed at interested citizens, business people and people who assume responsibility in politics and civil society. Experts will also have the opportunity to learn about new aspects of the blockchain, exchange ideas and network on specific topics.
