This week we will have Marc and Maxime from Parisian Blockchain agency Kapalt ( speaking. This is what they’ll be talking about:
Agenda :
Introduction to Blockchain & DLT – 25 min
Illustration – Example of a live project – 10 min
Project Methodology – 10 min
Blockchain is a complex term where various concepts have been mixed-up from the traditional Blockchain definition to distributed ledger technology (DLT) including network infrastructure. In the introduction, we will try to give a comprehensive overview of what is Blockchain.
Then we will follow with a live project in order to illustrate what Blockchain is used for while focusing on the implementation.
Deploying Blockchain technology in a „corporate“ environment is a delicate exercise that requires the meeting of different imperatives, only capable of leading to a successful implementation.
This balance revolves around 4 major themes all necessary for the successful completion of a Blockchain project:
1 / Applicability: Why are we using this technology? What are the benefits to be expected? What characteristics are needed?
2 / Ecosystem: What is the environment, the actors and their interactions in a shared / decentralized infrastructure?
3 / Governance: Who supports what? Who has access to what information? Who validates what? Who pays what?
4 / Feasibility: Which protocol / technology to use? What are the levels of performance, security and confidentiality to be achieved?

The presentation will be held in English as a live online webinar. The participation is free of charge.
